On 9 March 2023, peacefully at Maygrove Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Irene.
Dearly loved Dad of Christine and David, Gerald and Chris, Nigel and Liz, Greg and Amanda. Loved Grandad of Vicki and Steve, Kylie and Dan, Kent and Claire, Matthew and Helen, David, Carly, Daniel and Hannah, Jade and Tom, Kathie and Kade, Kate, Tom, Anna, Maddy and Hamish and loved Great Grandad of Lilli, Nicholas, Henry, Jordan, Paetyn, Aprillia, Jett, Braxon, Ruby, Olive, Jagger, Jake, Oscar, Frankie, Ruby, Ava, Ollie, Andie and a new arrival still to be named.
A service will be held at the Hibiscus Coast Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 48 Waiora Rd, Stanmore Bay, today Saturday 11 March at 3pm followed by private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hibiscus Coast Hospice PO Box 66 Whangaparaoa. Thank you to the staff at Maygrove for their loving care and attention.

To the best and funniest Uncle ever. You lived a wonderful long life and will be missed by so many but remembered and not forgotten forever. What a grand reunion with Aunty Irene, Gerald and your brothers and sisters. Your laughter will be deafening as you regale each other with your stories. With loving thoughts to the family. Dearest Ralph, many memories from the first drunken pool nights in Pakuranga to all the years in between, welcomed into your family from day 1, sitting in the shade house with you after Gerald passed, walking down your driveway holding hands to say goodbye after Kath & I came for lunch, you are loved & will be missed by all ❤️❤️ Chris
