Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Paikea whanau, regarding the passing of a much loved Father & Brother, Richard Paikea, who sadly passed away on Wednesday, 18th January 2023 in Whangarei. On departing the Onerahi Club Rooms, Matua will lay in state at 19 Whimp Ave, Onerahi. 

On Friday, 20th January, Matua Richard will be conveyed back to Mokau Marae, departing Onerahi at 10am, where he will remain for the the duration of his tangihana.

Whanau have advised a funeral service will take place at the Mokau Marae on the 21st January at 11am followed by burial at Te Kauae Urupa.
