Born September 20, 1936. Passed away on March 08, 2023 aged 86. Much loved and will be sadly missed. Devoted husband of Barbara Mary Baine (Muir) of 62 years. Father and Father-in-law to Michael and Rhonda, Louise and Michael, Vivienne and Michael. Grandad to Stephanie, Rebecca and Claudia. Great Grandad to Lincoln and Tobias. A service will be held at All Saints, Purewa, 100/102 Saint Johns Road, on Thursday 16th of March at 2.00pm. Special thanks to the Staff at Ward 7 Middlemore Hospital.

I'm so sorry that for family reasons I can't join you in person at John's service. I will be watching the livestream and willing you all strength on the 16th from Wellington. I am sure that the kindness and warmth of John will come through, along with his sense of fun and his love of family. Your home was my second home for many years and I appreciate so much all the family time, picnics and holidays that were shared with me. Much love to you all, Linda xx
Dear Barbara and Family, We want to express our deepest affection to you and John. We were totally shocked to hear of his passing although we knew he wasn’t well after the cruise. You have known Julie since your school days at Chilton and I have known John since 1962. We have lovely memories which will never be forgotten.
