Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Hughes whanau regarding the passing of their beloved Nanny, Mum, Sister, Aunty, Cousin, and dear friend, Tofuinu'u Barbara Hughes who passed away in Auckland on Monday the 12th of October 2022.

Tofuinu'u Barbara Hughes passed peacefully at home Wednesday 12 October 2022. Deeply loved wife of the late George Hughes, mother of Eleitino, Rita, Eliza and families. All family and friends are respectfully invited to her residence 129 Waitakere Rd all day Friday 14th to Midday Saturday 15th October.

Please note limited parking, carpooling encouraged.A family service will be held 6pm Saturday 15th October at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3 Harvest Drive, Henderson, Auckland.

 All are welcome.

The funeral will be held at 10am Monday 17th October at the same venue, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3 Harvest Drive, Henderson, Auckland. Following the funeral she will be laid to rest at Waikumete Cemetery. Fa'amolemole taofi le malo. Leai se fa'asamoa. Fa'afetai tele lava.Respectfully we ask that no photos taken at the funeral be posted to social media.
