Funeral service held at Dil's Funeral Services
Deepest condolences to the Griffin family. I was deeply saddened to hear about Keith’s sudden illness and your loss. My prayers are with your family
To Cheryl and Family - sadly I was unable to make the funeral to farewell Keith and my heart goes out to you all at the sudden and tragic passing of Keith. Keith had a mischievous zest for life and I will always remember with great fondness the time we spent together in NZ and the Pacific Islands. My thoughts and condolences are with you all at this very sad time. Roger
So sad to hear this news. Our heat felt condolences to the family, much love from us x
Keith, from your 'long lost Cousin'. It is a shame that our families were separated all of our lives so that we never had the opportunity to grow up together. How wonderful it was for me to meet you, only a few weeks ago, when our cruise brought us to Auckland. The last time we had met was when we were only about 8 or 9 when you came to England. It made such an impact on me, at that tender age, that you and Neil didn't wear shoes- even in cold UK! When you met us at the port area, immediately I felt as if we knew each other. That is obviously the mark of a hospitable and friendly man. We enjoyed a lovely time with you all. The Shaw family wish Cheryl, Nick and Emma all our love at this time. Richard.
Keith, you were a great role model and it was an honor knowing you. Always very humble and with so much knowledge. I can't believe you left so soon. Much love to Nick and the family.
Farewell to a great man
It was an absolute honour to be chosen as a pallbearer for your last walk Keith . I will miss you immeasurably and only hope that we meet again mate . Love to Cheryl and family and what a blessing to be with you all over the last 10 days . Kia kaha , much aroha - love from Trev/Jo/Mikey & Dom xxxx oh and Bonnie too
Keith you got the send off you truely deserved but came far too soon. We will miss you. The world is a lesser place without you in it. Your beautiful light shines through Cheryl Emma and Nick touching us still. All our love.
Keith, our world is a much poorer place without you in it. Honestly, I don’t think there’s anything we could say that wasn’t said by someone at your service today. Such heartfelt and emotional words and stories, your family were absolutely amazing and really did you proud. Cheryl, Nic, Emma, Neil, Val, especially, our hearts go out to each one of you as the days go back to a new kind of normal and your hearts still feel so sore. You’ve done and shared so much together, in the shorter time Keith was with us and we know those wonderful memories will pull you through the sad times. Always and ever in our hearts, rest peacefully dear friend Xx
What a wonderful tribute of your life with Keith, as you know 100 years since we last saw you all, but how right you all were. Soft spoken and a very kind sincere man he was. Surround yourself Cheryl and Neil with your precious family and take each day slowly. Much Love Carol
Dad, I am so forever grateful for your unconditional, unwavering love. My father, my friend and mentor. Not quite sure how the world keeps turning without you. It doesn’t seem possible. The sun still rises each day. And life goes on. I carry you in my heart always. To one half of the best parents.
Keith, you were always a shining light, full of joy, clever humour and fun. Such a gentleman . You made the most of your time here on earth probably squeezing a 100 year life into your 65. It’s been an honour to know you. and you enriched our lives in more ways than you ever knew. Den and I will think of you and miss you so much.

Keith, You will live in our hearts forever, love and thoughts to all the Family
Sending all my love to Sheryl. Emma and Nick. I am sorry I can not be there today to celebrate a wonderful man, husband and father. Keith had a heart of gold, a man who gave everything for those he loved and built an amazing family. My heart aches for his lose to the family and friends. I and I know many will fondly remember him smiling and full of laughter and stories. Xxxx
A top bloke, a true gentleman. Rest in peace mate.
I have a particular ear wig from a humorous poem written by Dave Lake (circa 1972) for an English assignment. In it Dave mentioned a number of class mates including Keith who was memorialized in the opening line: "2A1 is full of goons, Biffens, Griffins and Muldoons..." I laughed at it then and every time it has come to mind since - only now the memory is bitter sweet tinged with nostalgia. Rest peacefully old friend, with deepest sympathies to all family and friends.
Heartfelt condolences to Keith family. I first got to know Keith during my summer internship on the Christchurch Ocean Outfall project back in 2007. He was an absolute gentlemen and highly respected amongst his colleagues - always filled with a good sense of humour, down-to-earth and always generous. He has been a great mentor and a good friend in the years since. You will always be remembered, Keith. Rest in Peace.

Nothing about this is easy and the world is a little darker today on loosing Keith. Cheryl Nick Emma and Neil and all the family our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stay strong. Ian Alison and family
We would like to express our sincere condolences to Keith’s family. Kristian and Keith worked together on the Lower Hatea River bascule bridge (a real career highlight), while Keith and I chased clients and projects together in the New Business Team. Keith was an absolute gentleman. A real people person, who could always be counted on for a joke, a hearty laugh, and as we also discovered, helped keep us supplied during the 2020 Covid lockdown. We will miss you, Keith. Rest in peace.

To our dear Keith Keith we will remember you as that funny laughing gent who enjoyed a good party.
