BOURNE, John Frederick (Horse). On 10 March 2023 at Auckland Hospital, as the result of a stroke. Much loved husband of Gail, and loving father and father-in-law of Carol and Stuart. Proud Grandad of Dylan. Twin brother of Sidney; older brother to Bob (deceased) and sisters Mabel, Janet and Cathy. A funeral service for Horse will be held on Wednesday 15 March, 2pm at Davis Funerals Henderson Chapel, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson.

Dear Uncle John. You were always such a gentle and happy man. An Uncle who was always keen to give things a go. I’ll always remember the car trips to the beach with you (and multiple car horns lol) and touring around Wellington when you visited in the 80s. So neat to see you all dressed up at Carol’s wedding and then at Marc’s wedding too. So grateful for the recent visit to Wellington with Aunty Kathy and Pauline. Always a hoot catching up with you and hearing about your latest op shop bargains and Goldcard adventures. You will be missed. I hope you and Uncle Bobby can enjoy a few jokes and a beer (or two).
