HANDISIDES, Maurice Kelvin (Maurice). Born January 23, 1940. Passed away on March 9, 2023. Relocated to his heavenly home after a time in North Shore Hospital, aged 83 years. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Ana (Germany), Brian and Sue (Australia), and Robyn and Andrew Holt, loved grandad of Samuel and Rebekah, Oliver and Jasper, Benjamin, Dominic, and Matthew. Substitute father and grandfather to many others. A man of faith who served God and helped many with passion and compassion. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Devonport Methodist Church, corner Owens Road and Lake Road, Devonport, on Wednesday 15 March at 10.30 am. Live-stream link will be at rowleyfunerals.co.nz. I am grateful to have been blessed with genuine godparents who consistently provided prayer support, practical assistance and spiritual guidance. Thank you for a long lifetime of care.
My love to Margaret and family. Over 20 years ago Maurice took a chance on an 20 year old girl who was keen to get into the workforce but had no skills. 3 years later I thrived and grew up under Maurice and Margaret’s guidance. Such a loving wonderful boss I was so blessed to have. May you rest in eternal love my Number 1 Boss. Love Jacqui ❤️❤️❤️
