My heart-felt sympathy to you Robyn, Alice, Ben, families & friends of Trev. Truely heartbreaking watching via livestream. The tributes/stories, photo/music celebrating his life was lovely. Love to you all at a very difficult time.

It is with great sadness on learning of Trev's passing. What a great presence he had in this life and the life he lead and shared with family & friends was so true of his character. Dedicated, hard worker, leader, role model and so much more. He had a huge presence. Rob, Alice, Ben, Anna and the grandchildren were all Trev's No#1 priority & love. Rob being his high school sweetheart. He shared this love to the extended family too and was always there when they needed him. Trev was a bloody great bloke. We knew Trev and Robyn for the last 50 years. So sorry to see this fellow now gone to the next stage, to see what else he can do in the next life. I had the privilege of knowing Trevor, sitting on the side of Jacobs River staring at the water each year. A good place, and a good man. Dear Robin and all your loved ones, When god created paradise he looked at it and he said '" That is beautiful", but he didn't know that 2000 years later a guy called Trevor Bolitho in NZ also created a paradise at Cherry Bay, and when God looked at it he was astonished and pleased and he decided that he needed Trevor on his side as his assistent. Remembering a vibrant and generous Cornishman (5th generation Kiwi). Trevor was intrigued and delighted to learn that the family name of Bolitho , is highly regarded in the Royal Duchy. The Bolitho family have been the Lord Lieutenants of Cornwall on several occasions, vis The King's Representative to the County. When he visited Cornwall to research the family estates, we were delighted to host Trevor and Rob in our home. A self-made man ,Trevor was modest and kind. A Kiwi gentleman.
