It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of Anaru on 12th March 2023. Much loved Dad of Skye, Misty, and Ebony, Koro of Justice, Te Arepa, Kapereira and Khy-Noa, Great Koro of Te Omeka, and life partner of Karyn (Gus).
No reira okioki mai koe e te Papa, e te koroua, a taihoa ake nei ka tutaki ano tatou. 
A service for Anaru will be held at Tokorangi Marae, Tokorangi tomorrow, Thursday 16 March 2023 at 11am followed by burial at Te Karaka o Te Marae o Hine Urupa. “Always with me, Always with you.”
