Love to u all on this sad day. I always remember Uncle Royce as a quick witted, mischievous man was usually a half dozen steps ahead of everyone else. He would get that gleam in his eye and you knew he was up to Something! I believe it is an Overend trait because I have seen it in the other brothers faces as well (including my dad (Les). Thinking of you all today. We have lovely memories of Royce from when we were growing up. Especially him with his coconut oil sunbathing and the cricket always on tv at the bach in Kaikoura. We are sending all our love to you from all of us in the south xx

It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Uncle Royce. I have many fond memories. One in particular is the fishing days when everybody would stay at the Bach in Kaikoura. Uncle Royce was always so sea sick (almost green) when out fishing. Yet he always perceived and was out the very next day. Rest in peace Uncle Royce and love and hugs to Aunty Kay and family Darryl and Carolyn.
