Tributes

Hey bro. Hearing of your passing was a huge shock. We weโ€™re best mates in high school, you always had my back. I will always remember our time as young fullas growing up in a big world, the tallest guys in school, watching wrestling, playing playstation, walking to the dairy to get an ice cream, getting up to no good โ˜บ๏ธ We drifted apart over our adult years, both taking different directions in life. You were always in my thoughts bro and always will be. Rest easy my friend ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฝ

That I chose to live so far away, I"ve never meant that much to you, I remember urging you on to take up welding. & to hear that you"d become as good as you were, excellent, I still weld (but pipe welding, impossible) & paint & endlessly toil away on cars, so we were both chips off that old block...That the diabetes got the better of you for me a real shock, being one for 22yrs, My last question to Nat just before you died, hows Stevens going, by the way.... It was a really nice service. But was just getting over the one of our late aunt Judy, sorry eh

Awesome photo tribute for you Steven, so many great memories!

Lots of good and hilarious memories of when Steven and my 3 kids were little. Long Bay beach when he was little and living there and when he used to come and stay and we would go on picnics, we would go to the park in Browns Bay and kick a ball around and if you all behaved yourselves a trip to the dairy for lollies was in order! When you were in your early 20's you and your friends used to meet my daughter and her friends in town and go clubbing. I believe a good time was had by all! I bumped into you a few years ago in Manukau mall and you were telling me of your struggles with diabetes. We had a good catch up. You will be missed. RIL.
