Born 7 May 1948, Larkhall, Scotland.  Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 18 March 2023 at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland. Beloved husband of Seletute Kononkono-Vave and cherished father of Nerina, Andrew and Thomas. Mass to celebrate his life will be held at St Therese's Catholic Church, Mangere East, 7pm, Tuesday 21 March.
