I am one of thousands of students who loved and appreciated Mr. Lochead's contributions. I am now in my 26th year teaching high school physics thanks to his inspiration. I still have mannerisms I gleaned from his teaching and I've been an international teacher for 13 years. Camping the South Island is on my bucket list and I will most certainly get there soon. Thank you for the photos and memories and the great honor of sharing in his service.
Errol shared his wisdom and encouragement and love with family, friends, students and actually with every person in his life. Errol lived a deeply Christian life devoted to others. He lovenly cared for his mother and brother in their elder years, as well as, my cousin Elva Marshall. Errol and Elva shared a cherished friendship for 70 years in California & New Zealand. Errol remains forever in our hearts.
Polite and dignified but with a keen sense of humor. A Bible scholar who enjoyed discussions on theology. Errol was also a wonderful school teacher who made a positive influence on the lives of those students lucky enough to be in his class. So thankful for our friendship and I will always miss him.
A true gentleman in every sense of the word - kind, gentle, sweet - and such a devoted son to our God. The angels will be singing, Errol - you're home. God bless x
