Hawera Harrier Club send our sympathy to the family of Kelvin. Wacky was a permanent fixture for many years at the Taranaki Primary Schools Cross Country. He could always be counted on to support our event and having the extra help was appreciated. Every time I called to check Wacky’s availability his first response was yes, I’ve been waiting for the call. Our condolences to you all. Kind regards, Hawera Harriers

To Stephen, David and families, Sorry to read of Kelvins passing, he was a well respected member of the Inglewood community. Living round the corner I spent a bit of time at the old place and loved the Kelly green car! He donated heaps of time to athletics which benefited lots of people. He’s one of a kind.

To Kelvin's family, on behalf of the Sport Taranaki staff and Board we would like to acknowledge the passing of Kelvin (Wacky). Wacky was a tireless volunteer and coach on the regional athletics scene and was a founding member of the Taranaki Sports Foundation, which later changed its name to Sport Taranaki. Kelvin was made a life member of Sport Taranaki in 2006 as a recognition of his commitment to a range of sporting organisations and groups. Thinking of you all. RIP.
