On 25 March 2023, in his 70th year, peacefully at Mercy Hospice. Dearly loved partner of Julie Lockie and loved proud dad of Chris and Sam and Kevin and Bron. Dearly loved grandad of Boston, Ava, Zara, Willa and Bobby. Loved JJ of Anne-Marie, Graham, Molly, Charlie and Oliver, Louise and Matt, Tracy, Che, Abigail and Elijah and loved brother and friend of Susan and Carina, and Linda, mother of Chris and Kevin. We would like to thank Manurewa High School for their support over the last two years and the wonderful care we have received from Mercy Hospice. A celebration of John's life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100-102 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Friday 31 March at 12.00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Mercy Hospice would be appreciated. You fought so hard to stay with us but are now finally at peace, sleep easy our darling man, knowing you are so loved and will be missed so much.
