Passed away peacefully at Te Mana Rest Home, North Shore on Monday 27 March aged 99 years and 3 months. The Williamson family patriarch, Sid, had a wonderful life. Now with his beloved wife Peggy, who passed away in 2016. Beloved father of Stephen [Bangkok], Simon, Mark, and Carole. Loved father-in -law of Judy and the recently departed Malee. Treasured Grandfather to Nicole, Kyle, Bevan, Alexander, Anita and Saichon . Poppa to his many great grandchildren. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Te Mana Rest Home who made Sid's last months so comfortable and enjoyable. A celebration of Sid's life will be held on Tuesday 4 April at 2.30pm at Dils Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. To the memory of our dear father; Sidney Robert Williamson. 99 years 3 months; who died on 27 March 2023. From the Williamson family in Bangkok; Stephen and the late Tim Malee Williamson, our children Anita and Alexander. Malee's daughter Saichon and husband Moo, their three children. BM, Ai, Ing. Anita Malee Williamson and Sadiq Ahmad. Son Usman (Bu) Anita's older children Nawin and Mel (Tanwa), Niece Kerunathai (Duck), Granddaughter of Tim Malee; Ploy We are all sorry to say Goodbye but alas we celebrate my father's wonderfully long life, and how enjoyable it was for myself to be with him last year during my extended stay with Dad at home in Auckland during part of 2022. I will cherish your memory forever Dad during my life, as will all my siblings Simon; (wife Judy and their extended family), Mark and Carole, thank you for being a wonderful father, friend, and patriarch.
