O’CONNOR, Adelma Mary (Del) (nee Corby). Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, after a short illness. In her 89th Year. Dearly loved wife of the late John, cherished and admired mother and mother-in-law of Damien and Sharon, Leanne and Richard Cunliffe, Johno and Kate, the late infant Peter, Frances and David Carmine, Gerard and Melony, and Bede and Angela, a much loved and proud grandma and great grandma, and a loved sister of Alice Lovell, and Frances McDonnell. Many thanks to Buller and Te Nikau Grey Hospitals and Buller Health Centre staff. Messages to 226 Buller Road, RD2,Westport, 7892. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Canice’s Catholic Church, Brougham Street, Westport, on Tuesday, April 11, at 11.00am. Recitation of the Rosary at the Church, This Day (Monday) at 5.00pm. So sorry to hear of Del's passing. She will always be remembered for her warmth, generosity and community spirit (along with John of course). My condolences and also those of Julian Miles and his late wife Mary Syron who have happy memories of Del and John visiting them here in Adelaide. May they Rest in Peace together.
