Tributes

Dear Dorothy Thank you for the 50 plus years of love given to our family. Rest in peace with your lovely Mum and Dad. Judy Ron and family

Judy Rose

Remembering Aunty Dorothy with love. She had a beautiful big smile, a laugh to match and the food that came out of her kitchen was out of this world! She used to fill our tummies up with the most amazing meals and baking. She was a great friend to my mum and dad, Ron and Judy Rose. Sending love to all of her family, especially her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and her Great Great Grandchild.

Nana, You had a very rewarding younger life raising two daughters, being a wife also baking, sewing. You taught me alot about basic life lessons on cooking which lead me to become a chef. You were always there for me, taking care of me for meals and after school. When I had noone to look after me I was always welcome at your house. I wish I had of got to do more sewing, caft things with you over the years. Nana ,Enjoy the after life, relax and eat sweets ,enjoy the peace and let your soul be free. Dear Great Nana I still remember all the Christmas days we spent with you and all the trips we had to come down and see you when I was a kid. I remember all your delicious baking and cooking that you spent days preparing awaiting for our arrival, I remember how happy you always looked when you opened the door and saw all of your great grandchildren standing in front of you excited to see you, I remember your warm hugs and welcoming smile and I remember never wanting to leave when the time came to head home. These are the memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life and I wish I could’ve said goodbye and given you one last hug, I will forever love you and remember you like this. Goodbye for now. Love your great grandson, William.

Rest in Peace My beautiful great nana. I'm so glad Beau got to meet you. This is one of the most special moments of my life. 5 generations apart meeting. Meeting her Great Great Grandson, her only great great grandchild. I vividly remember meeting her mum, my great great nana as a child, and later attending her funeral. Part of me is sad Beau won't have the same memories with you, but I will always talk about you, and tell him all the best stories from my childhood, stories of every Christmas with you, and how Sundays were strictly reserved for watching Shine TV and singing worship songs. I promise to pass on all the skills you taught me from baking to card making, and to always show everyone kindness. I will think of you every time I see a red rose, eat a real frut ice cream, see strawberries for sale, smell fresh baking, and see a giant white poodle... Everytime I hear Amazing Grace, I will think of you playing the piano, having the BEST hot chocolate and a couple bikkies before bed. I know you're watching over Beau and I, and I hope I make you proud. I know you're the brightest star in the sky, and dancing away up there free from pain and have your mind back. Love you forever nanna, until we meet again 💕

Thank you for the love you showered on us while alive. You cared for us with everything you had. You believed in living for what is right and that you gave us. You are a source of joy to us even in your death. You raised me and taught me everything I know from cooking. Baking, sewing, craft and how to be a good mother. I am forever grateful for having you in my life I will always hold you in my heart and pass on your knowledge and kind heart to your 7 great grandchildren. We love you Nana and know you are now at peace in heaven with grandad.
