Of Auckland was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on 20 April 2023 aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of Neil (deceased), treasured mum of Kristen, Stephen and Margaret, Peter and Jill, and Lisa and Ian. Cherished grandmother of Anneliese, Thomas, Conrad, Sofia and Eleanor. A service for Jenny will be held at the Mountainside Lutheran Church, 1 Harris Road, Mount Wellington on Saturday, 29 April at 11 am, to be followed by a private cremation. All communications to the Lindstrom Family, C/- PO Box 56013, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army can be made through the link below.

My mum Ada Rose Lawrence was Jenny’s auntie - her mum’s (Dorothy) sister. Mum and Auntie Dorothy were very close and I know that Jenny and mum were also very close. They both had beautiful handwriting and were excellent correspondents - I remember many letters addressed to and arriving from Hillsborough Road. My memories of Jenny are of a beautiful gracious woman always smiling with a lovely sunny disposition. My last contact with Jenny was in 2021 in response to some family photos I had sent her. My beautiful daughter Esther has three daughters - Scarlett Rose, Ada Rose & Dorothy Rose - so the generations live on. I appreciated seeing a photo of my mum, Dorothy and Jenny together in the photo tributes. Photo is of Auntie Dorothy with me and mum in the kitchen behind!
