Suddenly at home on Wednesday 19 April 2023, 58 years young. Beloved husband of Julie. Loved father and father-in-law of Teri and Paddy, and Bryce and Jayne. Cherished Grandfather of Roman, Saxon, Ardy; Austin, Briar, and Zander.
Brother of Heather, Denise, Eion and son of the late Rita and Neil.

A service of farewell that celebrates Shaun’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Friday 28 April 2023 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

It is with very heavy hearts that we leave this tribute to our life long friend Shaunie. It is and was such a privilege to have known him and the memories we have of our times together will remain with us forever (me personally when Shaun drove me to our wedding in 1986 - a lifetime ago but such happy memories!!). Shaunie was just so kind and welcoming in every way. Julie, you and Shaunie created such a wonderful family together and we can't imagine how hard this must be for you all. Our hearts go out to you and your family. Love and hugs, Charmaine (Buff), Wayne and Shaun.
