Passed away peacefully at St Christopher's Rest Home in Papatoetoe on 24 April 2023, aged 85 years. Loving wife of the late Johan. Dearly loved mother of Stephen and Richard, mother-in-law of Leigh and Oma to Gabriella and Zachary. Say hi to dad from us all. "Life doesn't last forever, but love does." A funeral service for Merle will be held at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Chapel, 361 Puhinui Road on Wednesday 3 May 2023 at 1pm. I will miss our long conversations when you called to enquire about how Coralie is going. You were only one of three people that made me kept the landline going. Your stories and passion about working in pharmacies around Papatoetoe were so fascinating - loved listening to those. Your pavlova was sublime and such a treat! I always loved your spirit and sassiness - I will.miss you Merle. ❤️Rest in Peace🌹
