Jo, you were one of life’s wonderful people, always seeing the good in everything. You brought us sunshine and love and you’ll carry that with you. Thank you for the love and friendship you gave to us and for everything you did for us during our visits over the past few years. You are a very special person and we’ll never forget you. Rest in peace dear friend. Our sincere condolences to the Fisher family. Jackie (nee O’Dea, Brendan’s sister and Michael Bater, London, UK

Josephine, your life was like a boat sailing waves on an ocean. Eventually you sailed where you must, not where we wanted you to. We will still sail; the waves with you, even though your waves are now calm and peaceful. Remembered always Shirley

I am so very sad to hear of Josephine's passing. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to her family and to all who knew and loved her. I will never forget the Christmas that she & Brendan stayed with us in Dublin, nor the lovely time I spent with her in Auckland when I came for Brendan's memorial service. May you both rest in peace.

Rest in peace and love Jo. You were a huge part of our lives, and we will miss your calm and loving presence, your sense of fun & adventure, and your kind and generous spirit. You saw beauty and magic in the little things most of us take for granted. Sending our deepest sympathies to all of the Fisher family. With much love & sorrow, Triona, Adrian, Kaitlin & Kiera xxx
