SWEETMAN, William Stuart (Bill). Born 30 January 1953. Passed away suddenly at home on 3 May 2023, aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Diana. Loved father and father in law of Chris and Jana, Tony and Rachel, grandad to Alistair. Loved brother of David, Stephen, Maurice and Ian. A service for Bill will be held at Devonport Yacht Club, 1pm Thursday 11 May

Even though our lives had taken us down different paths & journeys I will always hold fond memories of Bill & the the times we spent together in our early years. Watching & listening to his funeral service only confirmed what I already knew about the man & the wonderful husband,father & grandfather he was Sail on Billy Boy - I love you & will always remember you
In a short time, Bill became a good friend and golf mate. We'll miss him, his commonsense and his humour. Barbara & Brian
