Dear Yvonne Words can't express my love for you. As a friend, neighbour, and mother like figure. You always cared for me and listened to my woes. Especially when I lost my Howie ! A all round wonderful lady who was so caring to everyone and gave so much! Special thanks to Penny, John and Dianna for including me in the great send off for Yvonne I know she would have approved! My special lady you are in Gods Hands now I know you will be in peace with your maker. God Bless you my Yvonne ! Will miss you so much! Love always Donna xxxxooo
dearest Yvonne My much loved friend of 55 years - noone can replace you in my life - we struggled, worked, laughed, grew up together almost. I remember how hard it was for you the bring up the children on your own - and yet my dear friend you did it - I shall miss you more than I can say. Rest in Peace dear yvonne.
Dear Yvonne/mum What a fabulous mum and nana you’ve been. I’ve known you since Diana and I were 11 and I’ve seen the love you have for your family and for God. You have been a real blessing to them and to all your friends and your community. You were truly loved and will be so missed but we will see you again one day x Liz
Dearest Grandma, What a blessing it was to do recently have such a wonderful time getting to know each other. So many anecdotes, stories and tales weaved into 48 intense hours of connecting together. I have cherished our more regular phone calls since and am forever grateful to have had this time together. It feels surreal I won’t again check my letterbox to find a letter from you, always so carefully written, and usually on a beautiful handmade card. Thank you for sharing stories of your life with me. Until we meet again ♥️♥️🙏 Love Stacy
I spent quite a few months living in Mangawhai last year and took the opportunity to visit Yvonne whenever I was at the shopping area - knowing that she would always be happy to see me - she was such a genuine lady, always happy to see whoever visited in fact. I sometime took her chicken wings which she really enjoyed, or cake maybe, knowing there would always be a cup of tea and some home made goodies for me to take home. I grew up in England and when any person who died that was well loved, we would use the expression - ''A good old stick'' and from me I will say Yvonne Butler was a ''Good old stick''.
Nan has such a beautiful heart and we love her a lot and miss her a lot too
Such a wonderful, kind, lady. Such a blessing to have known her in this world and looking forward to spending eternity with her (lots of games of canasta to come!) 😘
Dear Yvonne, It has been my privilege to know Yvonne for just 3 years and to experience her gracious and loving nature through CMA and Causeway church. Her warm smile and courage and generosity touched my life.
