To a special brother Bill, Where do I start mate, this one really hits hard for me after going through my own battles with concussion symptoms and forced into early retirement from playing the game that gives us all so much. I wish I knew you were going through such a hard time so I could just help ya out in any way I could to keep the chances of you still being here with ya family and friends who ya touched the hearts of in many ways. From Hanan shield under 15 team together to opposing you in heartland, the friendship was always there, a fierce competitor, warrior and above all just a great humble man that lived and played by strong values, passion, family and a will to win at every aspect of life. You've hit me right in the chest bill, the hardest hit you've ever put on me!. I look forward to the catch up next time we take the field whether it's together or opposing I expect nothing less from ya. Fly well, love ya mate and massive respect always ya absolute gun. 🕊️🖤
Billy boy, Billy Goat, Billbo, Big Ears, A tough day for many who knew this top lad. I met Billy at Shirley Boys high school a few moons ago and had the privilege to call him a mate. Vic Holloway and I shared a few stories the other day over the phone as we remembered you. The shit we gave each other and the banter was always top quality. No doubt you'll be giving the same banter to Foxy up there as he try's to order you around. Rest easy bro until we meet again.
Rest in love Billy, the kindest man, always helping those in need & everyone’s biggest supporter ❤️ Hope you’re at peace now mate, so much love 🕊️
I met Bill when I was 14, he was playing 1st XV at Nelson College, I was playing the game before him and after the game he was the only player who had somthing to say too me, ever since then bro has been a guardian for me, someone I could always go to for support if I was going through a rough time, or if I just wanted to chill. Always has my back and I for him. Gutted to lose another brother especially one I was so close too 😞 love you killa 💯
