I was saddened to just hear of Rod’s passing earlier in the year , and have just watched the thanksgiving - my heartfelt condolences to all his family . I was introduced to rod in the early 90’s and became one of his property advisors and assisted him in buying and selling his properties at Wates City - in doing so I discovered a client with whom I would spend many hours discussing not only business but all walks of life - he was articulate, had amazing vision on his developments , huge respect in the City of London and my own respect for him was to infinity and beyond ! I cannot suitably describe the influence he had on me ,and my career and I was meant to be the advisor ! Thank you Rod, peace be with you.

We had the pleasure of meeting Rod only a couple of times and that was enough to create a lifelong admiration for a gentleman with the warmest smile, wonderful sense of humour and a generosity of spirit. He was meant to visit us in a day from today... to say we will miss him is an understatement. So glad to have known you, Rod. Rest in Peace.
