I met Suzanne when I was 18 and started work at the most boring job in the world, filled with people shuffling paper and waiting for lunch. She stood out like a beacon, so vibrant and ready for mischief - we became friends instantly and had many an adventure until inevitably we got on with life and had families and got ‘busy’ but always the thread of friendship stayed. I am reminded of this saying- A strong friendship doesnt need a daily conversation, doesnt always need togetherness. As long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never part. So rest easy my beautiful friend and save me a seat up there, - I will just look for that beacon.
