I have just become aware today, 19th August of Jill's passing. Jill, Bruce and Stephen were tenants of my parents at Tamahere near Hamilton 65 years ago. Jill and my late mother Barbara Herbert spent many an hour, and hours, and hours shopping in downtown Hamilton! Both families became firm friends and this friendship has lasted all these years. Our trips to Northland will never be the same without the hilarious and happy get togethers with Jill and of course dear Bruce at Ruakaka.
