ROONEY, Kerry James: Of Feilding – On May 30, 2023, peacefully at Woodlands Rest Home surrounded by his family. Aged 83 years. Much-loved husband of the late Bella Corrine Pera Te Koa Rooney (nee Seymour). Loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Ruth, Lisa and Simon, Maree and Rob, James, and Robyn. Loved grandad of Glen, Caitlin, Kaylah, Matthew, Lauretta, Ashleigh, Kieren, Campbell, Ryan and Ellen. Loved great -grandad of Isla-Rose, Keanu, Indie-Mae, Mckenna, Willow, Zane, Kellin and Walker. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional and compassionate care Kerry received at Woodlands of Feilding. Special thanks to all the family and friends who cared for Kerry in his time of need. A service to celebrate Kerry’s life will be held at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, 4 Monmouth Street, Feilding, tomorrow Friday 2nd June 2023 at 10.30am, followed by an interment at Feilding Cemetery.

He was a wonderful man to my sister and I. We were Belle's youngest sisters Frances & Lee. They were both so good to us, in particular Kerry was so supportive of everything we did. Interested in what we were doing. I was so sad I couldn't come home but I loved watching the live stream. Thank you for this service you provided. Very sad to hear of Mr Rooneys passing, was very lucky to spend last Christmas lunch with him and his family.
