So shocked to read your obituary. I was hoping when Mum said you had passed she had the wrong person but one look at the photo and your good-natured, ready smile confirmed you were the great friend I had made at Witt way back when. I thought of you so often over the years even though we had sadly lost contact...so many great times and mischief. As we so often are I am so regretful of letting time get away on me and not trying to make contact again. You were a lovely soul and I hope you rest in peace. My condolences to the family - Lisa.

Stacey, our dear friend you will surely be missed. Your beautiful smile and contagious belly laughter will always be fondly remembered. We’ll miss sharing a drink and meal (especially our traditional mid winter Christmas) with you and the way you could make us feel so special and unique. Always a funny story from you and those stylish bright sketchers you so often wore, have me and Zoe hooked on sketchers too. You’ll remain in our hearts ❤️ forever.

It was a great shock and a heavy heart to hear the news. Thank you for your friendship through school and your on going connection with Caro and the girls. The world was definitely brighter & bubbly with you in it. The joyful memories will last forever as the bright light leaves us to join the stars above, watching over and guiding us.

So hard to encapsulate over 30 years of being in each others lives. After being friends at school, I’m so glad I was part of your London adventure as well. We flatted together, had a few travels together, and just generally ate a lot, mostly cake. One of life’s most genuine and generous people, I will miss catching up with you, it doesn’t seem real that you aren’t there anymore.

Stacey, we met and became friends when we worked together at Passport Holidays in Auckland. You were always so kind and had a warm nature and a great sense of humour. Upon making friends we discovered we were born 3 days apart in the same hospital! With this common ground we got to venture to New Plymouth together and go into town and you stayed with your mum and me with my grandparents. We had so much fun travelling around NZ for work and days in the office in the big smoke of Auckland. Although I haven't seen you in a while I sometimes remember those days and wonder what you had been doing. RIP Stacey. You will be missed.

First thing for the day 'when's lunch?'. It was a privilege working with you Stacey and even moreso being lunch buddies. Macaroni cheese, almond and date scone missions. Falling off the make lunch at home wagon and heading out of the office, totally worth it. Sharing photos of your neighbors adorable cat Possum which would visit for cuddles and Sunday naps. Travel stories ranging from seeing the orangutans, intense thunderstorms in the rainforest and cruising London streets after visiting your sister in the evening. You spoke fondly of your family telling us funny stories (Funky Town, testing the water and it has bubbles - that's okay because it's wine). You spent a lot of time planning thoughtful birthday gifts for them and long weekends meant a trip to Whanganui. I'm going to miss your kindness, humour, quick wit, chewing the fat and looking at situations from a different perspective. Stacey, farewell for now and may you rest in peace. Kylee xx
