You were right again mum, still listening to you and learning. Glad we got to have so many chats over the last 15 years after waiting 50 years to do so 🙂 When you do get home again you will be with those you loved and who genuinely loved you always. Your family was so much bigger than just the 9 children who knew of you as mum. God only tests us as much as we can endure which proved how strong you were despite being petite in stature. See you again, Ka kite ano.

My last memory of you was when I came over from Tauranga a not so many years ago to your home to catch up with Rowena. You made me feel welcome as always and we talked about many memories (some I had forgotten) You always excepted me for whom I was and am for this I will treasure always. Your smile your words of wisdom. Thank you. FLY HIGH AND REST EASY
