Aunty Char passed away at home in her beloved Piripai, surrounded by loving whānau.  Cherished partner of Richard Wanoa.  Beloved eldest daughter of Pakihiwi Nepata and Daphne Te Aranga Nepata (nee Heke).  Mokopuna of Hirini Kanawa Nepata (Ngati Kahungunu) and Hera Tio Ngairo (Ngai Taiwhakaea).  Also of Taipu Te Here Kaiawha (Ngati He/Ngai Te Rangi) and Huhana Heke (nee Fraser) (Ngati Rangitihi, Ngati Te Rorooterangi).  Loved sister of Pakihiwi jnr, Daphne Te Aranga and John Derek Ngaro and Roihana.  Loved aunty, nanny, cousin and friend to many.  Haere e whae, haere ki o nui, ki o wehi kei te paerangi e whanga mai ana ki a koe. Haere atu koe kia whiti atu koe ki tua o te ārai, ki te kainga tūturu mo tātou te tangata. NGA WHAKANEKENEKE Aunty Charlotte is currently lying at the whanau homestead on Ferguson Road, Piripai. Her funeral is scheduled for Wednesday 7th of June at 10am followed by burial at Te Paroa Urupa. E moe aunt, e moe i roto i te Ariki.
