Lucie passed away peacefully Sunday night 4th June at home with Marius at her side, aged 83. She was the daughter of the late Willem and Adriana van Rij, elder sister of Bill (deceased) Andre, Ernest, Peter, and Rob. Sister-in-law of Karen, Anita, Tonny, Adie, Bev. Loved and cherished wife of Marius; mama of Rianne and Michiel (in the Netherlands) and Oma to Eva, Rhode, Donna, Bo and Jim. Step-mum of Carol, Michael, Paul and Judy and Oma Lucie to the grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks for your prayers and to the loving caregivers and supporters who made it possible for Lucie to stay at home with Marius. A service for Lucie will be held at North Shore Reformed Church, 74 Trias Road, Totara Vale on Wednesday 14 June at 10am followed by a burial at Silverdale Memorial Park.
