With heavy hearts we bid farewell to Richard, a remarkable soul who embodied strength, resilience and unwavering courage throughout his life's journey. On June 7 2023 Richard's valiant battle against adversity came to an end. Beloved son of John and Audrey, loving and cherished brother to Lindsay and Scott, adored uncle of Charlotte and Angus and brother-in law to John. Our Braveheart Boy to the end. Always and Forever in our hearts. A service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at All Souls Chapel Purewa, 100 St Johns Road, St Johns on Thursday 15th June 23 at 1pm

We have lived on opposite sides of the world for more than sixty years so my overriding memory of you Richard is that of a small laughing boy with carrot red hair, running around, just having a good time.
