Bereavement Panui on behalf of the Te Puia whanau, regarding the passing of their beloved Dad, Koro, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many Wilson Wirihana Tamati Te Puia, who sadly passed away surrounded by his whanau in Wellington on Thursday 15th June 2023.

Matua Wilson will lay in state at the Whanau Whare in Stokes valley until the whanau depart for Mourea Sunday morning. Matua Wilson will lay in state at Te Takinga Marae Rotorua from 3pm Sunday. The whanau have advised us that a service is to be held on Tuesday 20th June 2023 11am followed by burial at Motutawa Urupa Rotorua.
