STOKES GILLIAN BRIAR
Our beautiful and brave Gillian left us on 15 June at the age of 72, after living with cancer for 7 years. A loving and loved wife and mother to Roger, Melissa, and Olivia. The best ever GG to Hugo, Freddie, Charlotte and Beatrix. A non-meddling mother in law and great friend to Dave and Simon. We will miss her so much. Gill hated a fuss and in accordance with her wishes there'll be no formal service. Heartfelt thanks to Richard and his team at Canopy Cancer Care, for giving us extra years with Gill and many happy memories to look back on. Our immense gratitude to Dr Peter Cunningham for looking after Gill in her final days.

Goodbye to a long time friend who had been by far the best sister-in-law for so many years. A wonderful Aunty to Jess and Lucy. Such a strong non-judgemental Lady. A true Lady with a kind heart and wisdom to match. Miss you Gill with a great flood of memories going back to 1971 when I first met you in Eaton Ave and then enjoying your hospitality when I joined your family. Our love goes out to Rog, Olivia, Melissa and families. Though I found a new life which took me in new directions I thought of you often and will always remember your kindness.
