Passed away peacefully Friday 16th June 2023.
Daughter of Grace & Norman Newton. Granddaughter of Henry and Rangitopeora Davies Ngati Tuwharetoa, Cecil & Emma Newton Tupuna: Nuku Tawhiti - Ruanui. Wife to the Late John O'Rourke. Mother of Mark (dec'd), Graeme, Maree, David and Heather. Wonderful grandmother and great grandmother to her many mokopuna.
A celebration of Emma's life will be held on Tuesday, 20th June 2023 at the chapel of Gateway Funeral Services, Awatapu Drive, Whakatane at 10:30am followed by burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Whakatane.
