Ivan Zencic

30 June 192120 June 2023

Passed away on June 20, 2023. It is with the greatest of sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Ivan Zencic, at the age of 101 (10 days short of his 102nd birthday). Ivan, quietly and with no fuss, slipped away from us late Tuesday 20th June 2023 in his own home, sitting in his favourite chair, with family by his side.

Loved son of the late Marija and Andrija and brother to the late Mile and late Nedia. Dearly loved husband of Fila for 73 years. Much loved and cherished dad to Marija, Grace and Mark, Lorraine, Carol, Stacy, Sandy and Leo. Adored Dide to Nicholas and Josephine, Andre and Hannah, Carl and Kirsty, Ben and his only granddaughter Alexandra. Pra-dide to Freddie, George and Maxwell who brought much precious joy to Ivan in his later years. Many thanks to Dr Peter Botica and Ivan's wonderful carers, Lily and Eleanor, who have provided Ivan and Fila with fantastic daily care and love. Dad, you are a legend within your own time and will never be forgotten.

We love you with all our hearts. Gods speed to the next kingdom. Neka mu bude laka zemlja. Pocivao u miru Bozem. The celebration of Ivan's life will be held at 1.30pm on Saturday 24th June 2023 at Davis Funeral Services, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson followed by placement at Waikumete Cemetery.
