Eric passed away peacefully, on the 19th of June 2023, at age 89. Commanding his final performance, he has closed his final curtain.
Cherished family to William and Jennifer, and their sons, Liam and Gryffon.
Following a private burial, a memorial service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held at 10.30am on Friday the 23rd of June, in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road Albany
We will remember the best of him; our font of knowledge, his wicked wit and inimitable charm. Maria Callas can now deliver personal performances of dolce arias, forevermore.

An amazing man. He never forgot my birthday and Sent a card every year. He shared much memorabilia with me from the Civic, and was instrumental in allowing me to get the Civic Tours off the ground 4 years ago. Love you Eric. Rest in peace you beautiful man.

I was lucky enough to meet Eric when i worked with him in the 90s at the Civic. I was even luckier to become his friend. Thank you dear friend for all the joy, laughter and even the outrageous stories especially of The Civic ghost. You will be missed.
