The passing of Arconnehi Paipper known by many as Aki.

It is with a heavy heart that the whānau of Arconnehi “Aki” Paipper share the sad news of her passing on this day, Tuesday 4 July 2023, aged 80.
Her love for her whānau, hapū and community matched only by her passion for te taiao. A tireless and eloquent advocate, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Aunty Aki will be taken onto Kohupātiki Marae Wednesday 5 July at 9am.
That evening the whanau invite you all to share your thoughts, experiences and prayers in preparation for her final service on Thursday
6 July 2023 at 1.00pm, Kohupātiki Marae, Clive, Hawke's Bay.

I have known AKI not long after she arrived in Vancouver, BC. She became an instant friend. How can you not love her. She was fun, entertaining and very kind. We had many good times and it was a very sad day for me and friends when she decided to go back home to New Zealand. She always missed all of you. You were the the lucky ones to have her back. May God be with her in her new heavenly home.
