I am so sorry for your loss. I was shocked to hear just today of Laurie's passing. He was such a kind, intelligent and wise man and I enjoyed our conversations. He was always able to speak to me on my level which I always appreciated. Sending love and sympathies to Laurie's family. Rest in peace Laurie.
My heart heavy with grief, I find solace in honoring the incredible man who played such a profound role in my life. Laurie, you were more than just a guardian; you were a guiding light, a mentor, and a source of unwavering support. Your presence in my life was a gift beyond measure. You believed in me when I doubted myself, providing encouragement and fostering my growth. The memories we created together are etched deeply in my soul, and I will carry them with me always. Your insights, wisdom and advice shaped my perspective, guiding me through life's challenges. You were not just a source of guidance, but a reservoir of wisdom that just could be called on at any time. Your kindness was unwavering. You always saw the best in others and brought out the best in me. As I bid you farewell, I find comfort in knowing that your legacy will live on through the love, wisdom, and compassion you bestowed upon your family and all the people who ever met you. I promise to honor your memory by living a life that reflects the life you shared with me. Rest peacefully, Uncle Laurie. Though I feel the ache of your absence, I am grateful for the time we had together. I will carry you with me, always. Thank you for being my guiding light, my mentor, and my beloved godfather. You will be deeply missed.
